The much anticipated iPad will come out on the 3rd of April, 2010. The day when all online/offline digital services morph into one. New media is pervading much [all] of our day-to-day lives. Who needs a computer AND a television, when they could very easily be the same device? Books? Psh, I don't need to be bothered by flipping pages (although I doubt an iPad smells as good as a library book). My roommates don't understand that last comment-confirming my assumption that no one reads books anymore. Anyways, what does this rapid conversion of media mean for the business/marketing world?

Well it seems as if over 300,000 iPads have been sold already, wow! This has to mean that there are major changes coming to the world of technology. Marketers are going to need to adapt in order to keep up with the times.
Spot-on, Anonymous! Although, if technology keeps growing at such an exponential rate then eventually computers will surpass human intelligence, so human marketers will no longer be needed!
Many people predicted the demise of the movie industry when videos were introduced. Meanwhile, it's doing better than ever. I think book clubs will keep books alive. I know mine will! I love my book club babes!!!!!!
